Systems Engineering Tools Database

Welcome to PPI’s free Systems Engineering Tools Database (SETDB) page. SETDB provides information on hundreds of software tools and cloud services that can support your systems/product engineering activities.

SETDB is a collaborative initiative by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and Project Performance International (PPI). It is designed to assist you in finding reliable software tools and cloud services that support your engineering activities.

The SETDB features live tool listings, tool vendor information, and categorized tool lists. This platform is primarily tailored for the engineering community, providing exposure to the SETDB for those who are not currently members of INCOSE or account holders with PPI.

HOW CAN YOU ACCESS SETDB?
  • Via Your INCOSE Account: Log in using your INCOSE membership credentials.
  • Via Your PPI SEG Account*: Access through your PPI Systems Engineering Goldmine (SEG) account.
  • With Your Vendor Account: Tool vendors can log in to register and list their tools.
  • With Your Admin Account: SETDB administrators can log in to manage the database.

SEG is a searchable database of over 5GB of downloadable content and 7,000 defined terms, all relevant to the engineering of systems. From the SEG website, you can navigate to a SETDB landing page without additional login. Request SEG access below.

SETDB & SE Goldmine Registration

I request access to PPI’s SETDB and SEG. In doing so, I agree to comply with the Terms of Use of the SETDB and SEG site, and I consent to receive by email from PPI occasional notifications regarding PPI’s systems engineering training and consulting services. I also request to be subscribed to PPI SyEN, PPI’s monthly newsjournal for the engineering professional, containing technical articles, news and useful information in the field of systems/product engineering and in directly related fields. I acknowledge that I may cancel my Systems Engineering Goldmine account and unsubscribe to PPI SyEN at any time.
