Norway is not known for its wine industry. However, the country has an intreaguing recent history of wine production. The wine, 12.4% by volume in alcohol, was produced from grapes grown at the winery in Hallingstadt Gard, Horten, on the Norwegian coast about 80km south west of Oslo.
