Sofija Marek

Business Development Manager

Sofija's primary role with Project Performance International is to lead the activities that are necessary to establish new business and professional relationships, and to nurture existing relationships, with clients, universities and professional societies worldwide (excluding China).


Suja Joseph-Malherbe

Professional Development Manager

Within her role, Suja manages the PPI-provided technical resources that help us to serve the professional community. In addition to SyEN, these resources include the Systems Engineering Goldmine, Frequently Asked Questions and other web-based resources.

Prior to joining the PPI team, Suja was a senior systems engineer with Garmin Stellenbosch, creating first-of-its-kind outdoor and fitness products. She led the management of software releases, including the testing, deployment and support of new software. Her experience also includes substantial modelling and simulation, image processing, and the development of technology systems, for example a battery pack for the dismounted soldier. This latter work was performed with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) for the defence industry in South Africa.

Suja received her BSc in Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and her MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Systems engineering is close to her heart and as such Suja is a staunch supporter of INCOSE. She is currently President-Elect of INCOSE SA, and serves as Chairperson of INCOSE's Ways and Means Committee.

Suja resides in the lovely Cape Winelands of South Africa with her husband Daniël, their son Jeevan, and their snow-white and friendly german shepherd dog, Dyan.


Helen Hele

Learning & Development Specialist

Helen assists in the processing and managing of course registrations, liaises with training venues worldwide and is responsible for arranging intricate international travel arrangements for the training and consulting team. Helen plays a key role in ensuring that each course is a successful course for each delegate.


Bekara Freeman

Courseware Production Leader

Bekara leads the course material production team. She is responsible for the production and dispatch of course materials worldwide, together with the maintenance of a high level of quality control to defined production standards, ensuring that delegates receive high quality, error-free course materials.


Brooke Mitchener

Marketing & Travel Coordinator

Brooke's role includes travel coordination to various location in the world for a number of course presenters with different requirements.

Brooke's other roles at PPI also includes social media, PPI's website, preparing and communicating with clients for both on-site and public training and working closely along side the administration team to coordinate the training courses successfully. In the past, Brooke has also worked in the Administration department at PPI performing various tasks.


Breno Bacci

Brazil Business Liaison

Breno supports PPI's operations in Brazil and the rest of South and Central America, providing a point of personal contact and liaison for clients whose first languages are Portuguese or Spanish. Breno physically supports course delivery and PPI participation in professional/industry events in South America.
