Clive Tudge is a professional Chartered Engineer with considerable National and International experience in Senior Project Management and Engineering Management positions in both Industry and Government.
Clive obtained his College Diploma at the College of Electronics, which was attached to the Ministry of Defence in the U.K. The Diploma qualified him as a Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE), which is now known as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Clive has started, and has run, successful software development companies, completing software-intensive projects on time, within budget and meeting requirements.
He has worked with many government agencies and industrial companies including Queensland Rail, Brisbane City Council, QANTAS, Ansett Technologies, Airservices Australia and the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO), bringing projects to a successful conclusion. For example, Clive managed the development of a flight data processing system for use in the Australian ATC environment.
Prior to arriving in Australia, in Europe, Clive held many senior Project Director positions in the aviation sector, on projects such as the Tornado, Jaguar and Hawk aircraft.
In Germany, he was the Senior Project Director on a unique Fly-By-Wire Flight Control System for the Typhoon Eurofighter Project and Project Manager for several subsystems of the European Tiger Helicopter.
Clive has performed in virtually all aspects of procurement, from Requirements Analysis and Definition through to Operational Support. He has had roles from software engineer through to Project Chief Engineer and Project Director on multi-million dollar projects. Key skill areas include: project management, systems process evaluation, risk management, system engineering design and acceptance, systems engineering training, airworthiness analysis, communications systems, engineering change management, flight testing, network management systems, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, and billing systems.
Clive has also been involved in many aspects of the Communications and IT&T world, from marketing, business analysis and requirements analysis through to development, implementation and operational support. He has had roles from Software Development Manager through to Company Director and Marketing and Sales Director.
Clive is also an experienced trainer, having delivered systems engineering training to Boeing for a period of three years. With PPI, Clive has delivered on-site systems engineering training to Airservices Australia, the Papua New Guinea air traffic management agency, Defence Materiel Organisation (Australia), Carl Zeiss (South Africa), the International Atomic Energy Agency (Austria), Itron (U.S.A.), and Epson Edge (Canada), amongst other clients.
He is a qualified competition aerobatics pilot, and winner of a Queensland championship in one year of competition. Clive speaks German and French, in addition to English.
Clive joined Project Performance International (PPI) in 2010, in the role of Principal Consultant, a role that enables Clive to transfer the benefits of his decades of project experience across multiple sectors to the clients of PPI. Clients whom Clive has supported with PPI include NATS (United Kingdom), Airservices Australia, Alcatel-Lucent (Belgium), RACQI (Australia) and DFAT (Australia).

- Received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Defence Materiel Organisation for his role as Project Chief Engineer in a major Defence communications development project.
- Member of the Project Management team awarded a 'Project of the Year' award from the Project Management agency in Australia.
